Støtten skal gi unge forskertalenter under 40 år innenfor alle fag og tematiske områder mulighet til å forfølge egne ideer og å lede et forskningsprosjekt. Utlysningen er rettet mot forskere på et tidlig stadium i karrieren, 2–7 år etter disputas, som har vist potensial til å utføre forskning av høy vitenskapelig kvalitet.Blant de kvalifiserte søknadene legger vi mest vekt på kriteriene Potensial for å flytte forskningsfronten og Kvalitet i FoU-aktiviteter når vi velger ut søknader for finansiering.
NFR tar imot søknader innenfor alle fag og forskningsområder og kan gi støtte til både anvendt og grunnleggende forskning. Du kan være prosjektleder på kun én søknad som sendes inn til enten Forskerprosjekt for unge talenter (denne utlysningen), Forskerprosjekt for unge talenter (tematisk utlysning med frist 8. februar 2023), Forskerprosjekt for fornyelse (tematisk utlysning med frist 8. februar 2023), Kompetansebyggende prosjekter for næringslivet eller Samarbeidsprosjekt for å møte utfordringer i samfunn og næringsliv (frist 15. februar 2023).
Researcher Project for Young Talents (FRIPRO)
Application type: Researcher Project. Application deadline:15 March 2023, 13:00 CET. Relevant thematic areas for this call: Ground-breaking research. Funding scale: NOK 4 000 000-8 000 000. Amount of funding presumed available for this call for proposals: up to NOK 240 000 000. Project duration: 36-48 months.
This is a notification of the upcoming call. Funding is intended to give talented young researchers under the age of 40 the opportunity to pursue their ideas and lead a research project. This call is targeted towards researchers in the early stages of their careers, 2–7 years after defense of an approved doctorate, who have demonstrated the potential to conduct research of high scientific quality. Among the qualified applications, we place the most emphasis on the criteria Potential to move the research front and Quality in R&D activities when we select applications for funding.
NFR accepts applications within all subjects and research areas and can provide support for both applied and basic research. You can be a project manager on only one application submitted to either Research project for young talents (this call), Research project for young talents (thematic call with deadline 8 February 2023), Research project for renewal (thematic call with deadline 8 February 2023) , Competence-building projects for the business world or Collaboration project to meet challenges in society and business (deadline 15 February 2023).
Akademia-avtalen. Utlysning av såkornsmidler og feltkursmidler i 2022
Styringskomiteen i Akademia-avtalen har besluttet å lyse ut såkornsmidler og midler til feltkurs for 2023. Såkornsmidler skal stimulere til prosjektutvikling i tråd med satsingsområdene angitt i avtalen.

The academy agreement. Announcement of seed funding and field training funding in 2022
The steering committee in the Akademia agreement has decided to announce seed funds and funds for field courses for 2023. Seed funds must stimulate project development in line with the investment areas specified in the agreement.
The application deadline is 6 January 2023. Applications are sent via UiB’s application system: Login (uib.no)

Info meeting: European Research Infrastructures– how can they benefit you?
University of Bergen and Helse Bergen are members of four European research infrastructures in the field of translational medicine: BBMRI, ELIXIR, EATRIS, and ECRIN. The four research infrastructures work in parallel, providing complementary services to researchers in the field of biomedical sciences and support the development of personalized medicine and new treatments.
We invite you to an information event on the 5. January at 13:00 at the EITRI Medical Incubator.
We invite researchers to learn more about each research infrastructure and how they can help you with a focus on services that support funding applications. The national coordinators of each research infrastructure are available for 1:1 meeting where you can ask specific questions regarding your project or get more information.
