Vi er i gang med å lage nye sidemaler for forskergrupper og forskningsprosjekter på www.uib.no, og vi ønsker å få innspill fra de vitenskapelige ansatte på hvilke behov de har. Videreutvikling av UiBs nettsider | Ansattsider | UiB
Vi inviterer nå vitenskapelige ansatte i forskergrupper og forskningsprosjekter på de ulike enhetene å gi tilbakemelding om UiBs nettsider. Spørreundersøkelsen finner du her: Spørreundersøkelse om forskergrupper og forskningsprosjekter på www.uib.no. Den kan svares på frem til fredag 25. november.
Alle innspill er svært nyttige for oss i det videre arbeidet, og svarene er selvsagt anonyme.

The survey about UiB’s websites

We are in the process of creating new page templates for research groups and research projects at www.uib.no, and we want to get input from the academic staff on what their needs are. Videreutvikling av UiBs nettsider | Ansattsider | UiB.
We are now inviting academic staff in research groups and research projects at the various units to give feedback on UiB’s websites. You can find the survey here: Spørreundersøkelse om forskergrupper og forskningsprosjekter på www.uib.no.

It can be answered until Friday 25 November. All input is very useful for us in our further work, and the answers are of course anonymous.

New Spectral flow cytometer Sony ID7000 at the Flow & Mass cytometry core facility.

We are happy to announce that we have recently got a new machine installed at the core facility.
It is a 5 laser Sony ID7000 spectral flow cytometer with the possibility to investigate 44+ colors, limited only by the fluorochromes available. Spectral flow cytometry has unique optical collection capabilities measuring the complete fluorescent spectra, and analytical capabilities compared to conventional flow cytometry. It also has the capabilities to detect small particles down to 160-nm.
